This position is a Part-time seasonal Sports play-by-play announcer position located in our Sumter market, and Florence market, and Orangeburg market

Qualified applicants ideally would possess the following:

Experience as a play-by-play sports announcer for local High School football.
Knowledge in set-up of broadcast equipment for broadcasting local sports on location.
Professional Self-Starter with a Positive “Can-Do” Attitude.

Duties & Responsibilities for Position:

Broadcasting local High School Football games in SC.
Proper handling of broadcast equipment, including mixer, mics, and full setup.
Strong communication skills, able to follow directions from Board ops at studio
Promptness for games, dependability, punctuality, and team cooperation
Ability to interview coaches, and guests at the games.
Trustworthiness in handling company equipment, and communication with staff when issues, or problems arise
Availability for dates, and times of local games. Transportation to and from games.
Must have smart phone for communication with management at studio as needed.
Salary: To be determined based on experience.
