Job Description
*Please note this is a 6 months contract (project only)*
Responsibilities:
Develop and produce live guest segments Find and book compelling guests for the show, following booking protocols
Conduct pre-interviews of guests and script questions for use by anchors and reporters Manage and arrange any necessary travel logistics for guests
Secure elements such as soundbites and video to support segments
Partner with other departments when necessary Generate original guest ideas daily, tapping into a broad array of sources
Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends
Works under the Supervision of the Head of the MEX Bureau, following instructions from the Line Producer, General Producer, and Executive Producer Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Communications or minimum 3 years of experience in television production, including shooting and editing in a deadline driven environment
Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)
Must be 18 years or older Must have a valid driver's license
Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
