Overview
Salem Surround, a division of Salem Media Group, offers an exceptional opportunity for an Ad & Email Trafficking Specialist. This person will serve as the email expert on our busy and growing Ad Operations team. We are looking for a highly-motivated individual with a self-starter attitude who is willing to take initiative and is excited to support our growing email marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
Google Ad Manager Campaign Management
- Trafficking orders/requests across the Salem Display Network (includes 90+ websites and apps) for both video and display.
Revenue Reporting/Order Maintenance
- Maintain direct orders via revenue worksheet.
House/Institutional Requests
- Trafficking institutional/internal requests across the Salem Display Network (includes 90+ websites and apps)
Campaign Management
- Trafficking orders/requests to national sites and apps as well as News Channel CTV platform.
Revenue Reporting/Order Maintenance
- Maintain direct orders via revenue worksheet.
Creative Review
- Creating/maintaining creative tracker (where the ads are coming from (site and SSP)
Monthly Reporting
- Reporting on direct, programmatic, house campaigns
- Building out programmatic ad stack - Perform setup/configuration/maintenance tasks for programmatic partners.
Email Trafficking
- Serve as an email expert for our field by providing best practice guidelines, advice on layout and design - Design, create and test emails with accuracy and efficiency to help move orders forward.
Qualifications
- You are an expert in HTML & CSS and have experience specifically in HTML emails: responsive design layouts, device breakpoints, and workarounds for limitations of email clients/browsers (mandatory).
- Publisher-side ad-serving experience (or any ad-serving background)
- Publisher-side trafficking experience (preferably through GAM/DFP but via any ad server)
- Reporting experience (Excel, TapClicks, GAM, ad servers, etc.)
- Attention to detail across a wide range of AdOps tasks: creatives, CT URLs, flight dates, impression goals, CPMs, revenue, etc.
- Publisher-side programmatic experience nice to have (building out ad stacks, header bidding/RTB knowledge)
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and be highly organized.
- Strong people skills
- Self-starter who can work both autonomously and collaboratively with a team of peers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Design, organize, and coordinate digital assets for an email campaign or digital marketing advertisement.
