Unique opportunity to play a critical role in content creation and syndication of programs and services across the Broadcast Industry.
Looking for someone who will foster and grow internal and external relationships and be bold in their idea generation and planning.
- Secure the most sought after audio content, programs and creative solutions and participate in the development of original content creation
- Build strategy for show and service placements across Canada and beyond
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external vendors and broadcasters
- Strategic planning for future course of syndication business
- Support in growing traditional and non traditional revenue streams
- Lead the Orbyt Media team including training and development of team members, while overseeing operations for Orbyt Media
- Promotional and publicity appearances as required
- Working in conjunction with internal and external partners to drive the evolution of the Canadian content landscape
- Create and communicate high level strategic goals to key stakeholders and executive team
- Leveraging data to always help drive efficiency and create value
- Lead negotiations with key content partners and affiliates
- You are a big-picture strategic thinker
- Team player with great people and communication skills who knows how to build strong relationships and present with confidence
- Proven experience leading a team to meet overall business objectives
- Effective project and time-management skills and capable of leading multiple high-priority initiatives concurrently
- Have the confidence to challenge the status quo and be comfortable with ambiguity
- Demonstrated understanding of the broadcast industry, both in Canada and Globally
- Bilingualism is considered an asset
- Minimum 5 years industry experience required
