Job Description
Within Operation & Technology, the Program Operations Studio team provides client services & media order management to several organizations across NBCUniversal including Television Distribution, Universal Pictures Group, Peacock, Sky Showtime and domestic/international networks. The Programming Specialist contributes to operational excellence in facilitating inbound content deliveries. This includes ensuring deliverables are received in spec and on time. The coordinator will partner with various internal teams including Media Operations, Advanced Media Products, and Engineering to ensure the accurate and reliable availability of content within the servicing library.
About the Role:
- Coordinate content procurement of both library and new production material as it relates to outgoing fulfillment orders for NBCU distribution outlets.
- Stewardship around the day-to-day receipt and readiness of NBCU studio/acquired content into the NBCU studio digital supply chain following the NBCU Technical Spec
- Audit orders, metadata, and production schedules to ensure proper and timely library management.
- Acting as point of escalation for the NBCU TechOps fulfillment teams regarding programming changes, content issues, content revisions and/or special requests.
- Communicate with external clients and internal teams on source content delays and issues.
- Manage tracking and reconciliation of deliveries from all inbound content providers
- Understand various internal workflows to escalate issues to the proper teams
- Comply with standard operating procedures and trainings to ensure success of our 24/7 support team.
- Lead weekly Onboarding calls with production and internal support teams to confirm files are up to spec.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in a related field
- 2+ years experience in media or broadcast/entertainment operations
- 2+ years experience in Media Asset Management (MAM systems)
- 2+ years experience in client/account management or project management
- 2+ years experience working with video distribution in a TV Broadcast environment
- 2+ years experience in enabling customer workflows and operations
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and process mapping tools (e.g. Visio)
- 2 + years experience using Salesforce
- 2 + years experience using Smartsheet
- Able to work on site 3 days per week in Dry Creek, Colorado Office (Anticipated schedule is M-F 8am-5pm MST)

- Experience in a role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, or analytical skills
- Detail-oriented, clear thinking and adept at multi-tasking
- Ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a deadline-oriented environment
- Possess strong interpersonal skills for interacting with senior leaders and global clients
- A respectful team player, who follows rules and policy, has good communication skills while maintaining a positive attitude
- Effectively flexible in approach, and responds well to pressure
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and be project oriented
- Experience in multiplatform digital content distribution (e.g. Broadband, iTunes, Hulu, etc.)
- Passion for new media distribution and keeping up to date with emerging platforms and the latest technology trends
- Proven track record of impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal with strong attention to detail
- Experience interacting with clients, such as programming, post houses and producers
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
