Job Summary:
We’re looking for a creative, flexible, and driven copywriter to join our team. The Copywriter is responsible for creating messaging for all marketing mediums. This position will work both independently and in collaboration with the Content Creation and broader Marketing and Sales teams to develop creative ideas and execute consistent brand messaging. Other responsibilities include attending creative planning and review meetings to collaborate with the creative team to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality work; working with the graphic designers and web team to create engaging web content; self-editing your written work; and expanding product voice and tone while staying within the Younique brand.
Responsibilities:

Write web copy, including product description pages, home pages, fact sheets, and internal educational resources.

Communications copy including emails, social posts, and press releases.

Work with video production and graphic designers to create scripts and copy for videos, digital, and printed assets.

Work with our training and social teams to infographics as-needed.

Own your own work from start to finish. Be self-motivated to complete your daily tasks while staying aware of launch schedules.

Develop content ideas and voice decisions with team and product stakeholders.

Write copy with a product-specific voice that still communicates a consistent voice and style across all deliverables.

Self-edit and proofread written assets prior to delivery.

Ensure accuracy of product information and price points.

Ensure copy adheres to brand style and has legal approvals.

Demonstrate agile writing capability to adjust copy to most effectively deliver messages to support various business needs. Examples include revising brand copy to meet shorter, digital requirements.

Work independently to anticipate problems before they arise; find solutions and follow up on issues.

Continually improve workflow efficiency and accurate completion of jobs according to timelines.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate, influence, educate, and inspire readers and teammates.

Ability to balance between creativity and prescriptivism.

Proven ability in writing, editing, and proofing digital assets, printed assets, and other marketing vehicles.

Excellent editing skills with on-the-job proofreading experience.

Minimum 2 to 3 years of writing experience, preferably with both digital & printed assets within e-commerce marketing, advertising, and editorial environments.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. A degree in English, journalism, or creative writing is preferred but not required.

Experience working in e-commerce. Bonus points for experience with beauty, cosmetics, or supplement companies and experience working with a global company.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to execute projects quickly and efficiently while always maintaining a level of excellence and high-quality work.

Articulate, strategic thinker with the ability to take creative direction, react quickly, and interact productively during brainstorming sessions.

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Familiarity with Chicago Style a plus.
