What You Will Do:
- Pitch, write, produce, shoot, and travel to various locations to capture video content for enterprise stories.
- Assist correspondents, producers, and crews during on-location filming.
- Create engaging graphics to enhance storytelling.
- Select video and sound elements for on-air stories.
- Scout locations for video shoots.
- Print and distribute scripts to producers and anchors.
- Conduct thorough fact-checking for accuracy.
- Log video footage.
- Multi-task effectively during breaking news situations.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of one-year working in a newsroom/production environment
- Experience shooting video.
- Willing to work flexible hours including, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to travel with little notice during breaking news.
- Familiarity with media management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

The hiring range for this position in Washington DC is $52,400- $70,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
