TRAINING FOR CERTIFICATION IS AVAILABLE
Training takes up to 6 to 8 weeks. Classes are 15-20 hours per week. Classes are virtual and your schedule is flexible.
Responsibilities:
- Attend court hearings or depositions
- Record proceedings and prepare transcript in a timely manner
- Proofread and edit transcript for submission
- Ensure accuracy of information
- Adhere to ethical standards and court reporting principles
Skills:
- Superb notetaking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research and organizational abilities
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $75.00 - $350.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
