Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, meeting production targets, and maintaining quality standards. This is a key leadership role within the organization, requiring strong management skills and a deep understanding of production management principles.
Responsibilities:
- Product Development Oversight
- Manage the entire lifecycle of product development, from sourcing to delivery.
- Coordinate with third-party manufacturers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Supply Chain Management:
- Source embellishments, labels, and ornaments, overseeing distribution to various factories.
- Handle logistics, including transit, third-party logistics (3PL), shipping, and order quantities.
Sample Management:
- Facilitate the timely delivery of samples for photoshoots, ensuring they reach the right places.
- Inventory Management:
- Forecast and manage inventory levels to meet demand and prevent stockouts.
- Implement reorder management strategies to optimize inventory turnover.
Requirements & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in apparel manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of garment production processes, including cutting, sewing, and finishing.
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software, such as ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and meeting production targets.
- Understanding of quality control principles and health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, focused on delivering results and operational excellence.
- Experience using ClickUp a plus.
