Creative Advertising Team is much more than making movie trailers and posters! As an intern on our team, you will experience the full cycle of film advertising from developing marketing strategy (that includes creative development) to budgeting, music, legal clearances, finishing and in-theater placements). If selected for this role, you will report to the VP of Creative Advertising.
What You Will Do
Support the team with logistics, scheduling, and production related activations
Assist with maintaining department charts, documents, and files
Prep materials and participate in weekly meetings
Track entertainment industry advertising and brand marketing trends
Required Qualifications & Skills
A curious, creative, meticulous film lover
Passionate about learning all aspects of the creative advertising process
Proficient with Mac and Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook and Excel
Understanding various AV formats / aspect ratios for TV and digital platforms
Outstanding communications skills both written and verbal
Open to taking creative direction and making changes in a timely fashion
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise with AVID, FINAL CUT, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere.
Education
Undergraduate students in their senior year or recently graduated within the past six months pursuing a bachelor's degree in advertising, public relations, communications, marketing, or related field.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Additional Information
The approximate dates of this internship are August 2024 through December 2024
Able to be fully available for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
