Position: Program Director & PM Drive Air Personality

About Us: We are a leading 50,000-watt powerhouse Top 40 radio station located in Eastern Indiana, dedicated to delivering top-notch programming and entertainment to our listeners. With a strong commitment to community engagement and quality content, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Program Director and be our next on-air superstar doing PM Drive.
Role Overview: As the Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the station's programming strategy, content development, and on-air talent management. This role also includes hosting the PM Drive air shift, engaging listeners with compelling content, music, and relevant updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the station's programming strategy to ensure audience growth and retention.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to integrate promotional activities seamlessly into programming.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Maintain compliance with FCC regulations and station policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in radio programming and on-air hosting, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong organizational and strategic planning skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for creating compelling content.
- Proficiency in radio automation software and familiarity with industry-standard equipment.
- Knowledge of FCC regulations and guidelines governing radio broadcasting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
