Ecommerce has grown to be a thriving business for artists and brands. Our team partners with clients and works diligently to develop engaging artist stores, online marketing strategies, promotional offers, and nuanced products that appeal to consumers and super-fans, and drive sales
Your role:
You’ll be at the forefront of ecommerce growth at a major label, leading a roster of online stores for WMX Ecommerce, and working closely with labels, managers, and artists.
Here you’ll get to:
- Develop best practices in e-commerce as it relates to the end consumer; drive sales and increase amount per transaction
- Maintain got to market calendar and an on-going strategy to facilitate marketing of store promotions while working closely with internal partners (Marketing, Digital Marketing and Artist Management) to develop and complete approach in the e-commerce area
- Create initiatives to grow our weekly online sales to become a consistent revenue generator
- Lead day-to-day site merchandising maintenance
- Provide merch content / images for communications to customers & staff
- Work with graphic designers to develop all assets for web stores including banner ads, product shots, ads, cohesive design look for overall web store
- Compile reporting and tracking metrics for all Online sales and initiatives
- Proposal of suitable products based on innovation, competitor research and knowledge of similar artist product proposition.
- Using ecommerce innovation to develop product bundles and retail mechanics to create engaging retail proposition to fan base.
- Facilitates taking photos of products and maintains product image gallery
- Provide customer service to Managers/Artists in a professional manner
- Communicate to customer service any promotions, pricing, product or site issues that may drive customer contacts
About you:
- You have 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, online marketing, retail, or equivalent education.
- You have a knowledge of, and appreciation for, modern music and popular culture.
- You have a growth mindset with a desire to drive increased optimization and conversions.
- You are self-motivated, meticulous, and organized.
- You must be comfortable with spreadsheets, forecasting, forms, and research.
- You must be comfortable engaging with other departmental teams, and in running projects. Communication is key.
- You must be comfortable engaging with clients in a professional atmosphere and be committed to maintaining confidential information as related to product launches.
We’d love it if you also had:
- Experience with ecommerce platforms such Shopify, or Salesforce/CommerceCloud/Demandware.
- Experience with Google Adwords and/or Facebook/Instagram Advertising.
- Experience in product or project development.
