About the role:
For over 30 years, EF Go Ahead Tours has guided adult travelers across the globe via carefully crafted group travel itineraries. Our travelers range from young professionals to retirees, solo travelers to entire families, travel enthusiasts to those stepping off their first flight. We believe the best way to learn about the world is to experience it, and every day we come to work hoping to help as many people as possible do just that.
As a key member of Go Ahead’s in-house creative team with a contract term of 1 year, you’ll help bring our company’s mission to life by editing videos highlighting the inspiring destinations we visit, and the incredible tour experiences we craft.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the dedicated editor primarily for our online product page videos and paid advertising
- Manage all aspects of the post-production video editing process, including color correction, motion graphics, sound design, music, and exporting
- Seamlessly combine our purpose-shot raw footage with supplemental stock
- Produce videos to required specifications for our e-commerce platform, paid media advertising, including YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram
- Translate storyboards and scripts into compelling video content
- Apply trends in motion graphics and animation to brand video work
- Create short animations for our website, email, and social channels
Who you are:
- 5+ years demonstrated professional experience in video editing and animation with experience creating video for e-commerce
- Highly efficient video editing workflow and knowledge of exporting best practices
- Ability to translate the creative vision of videographers, designers, and copywriters into an engaging final product
- Skilled in animation and motion graphics, and comfortable partnering with designers to bring a vision to life
- Ability to organize and keep track of a large volume of of media across multiple sources
- Knowledge of copyright, image permissions, and fair use protocols for music and video resources
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, and DaVinci Resolve, with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- An impeccable eye for detail and excellent time management skills
- A love of and passion for travel
- Bonus points if you dabble in or have had some experience working with AI
