We are seeking a talented and creative Contract Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that effectively communicate our brand message across various platforms. This role requires a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in graphic design, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
- Create compelling and effective logos, designs, and digital media
- Leads design projects through creative process stages, including the coordination of outsourced project requests
- Works with key stakeholders and marketing team to produce impactful design that aligns with brand strategy
- Utilizes standardized templates and tools to provide creative conceptualization for the layout, design and production of work, including digital deliverables.
- Tailors’ graphic concepts while adhering to firm standards and brand compliance
- Assists in overseeing delivery of finished project
- Coordinate vendors and manage outsourced production; perform other assigned work within the department as requested
- Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design
- Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
- Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD, InDesign), Sketch and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word)
- Photography, videography, video editing and motion graphics skills a plus (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Rush, and Animate)
- Eye for design details, such as typography, alignment, hierarchy, etc.
- Expert knowledge in graphic design fundamentals and process and innate attention to detail
- Strong creative, organizational, problem solving, and time-management skills
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to professionally handle constructive criticism and input from creative team members and technical staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Portfolio required: Must include examples of multi-page document layout, logo design, and infographics. Video editing, photography, and animation are a plus
- Ability to work onsite in Charlotte, NC, five days a week

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
