Are you passionate about the world of television and broadcasting? We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Studio Intern to join us for the Summer 2024 semester! Reporting to the Sr. Coordinating Talent Producer, this is a great opportunity for current college students looking to gain firsthand experience working alongside NESN’s renowned on-air talent.
This will be part time at about 20 hours per week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist on-air talent with pre interview preparation
- Prep bios for guests appearing on pregame and podcasts
- Research and compile Red Sox game notes and statistics
- Can work weekday dayside as this is prep ( not needed for postgame )
- Act as a general runner (food pick-up, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a college student, preferably in Sports Management, Media, Communications or related major.
- Die-hard New England sports fan with a strong knowledge of the Boston sports scene (Red Sox, Bruins)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- A willingness to learn and a positive attitude
- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
