The team at Fat Earth, Red Antler's new creative performance marketing partner, is seeking a world-class graphic designer to join its team. The designer will be focused on addressable media and will design ads for various paid channels, specifically Meta. As a Senior Graphic Designer-Ads at Fat Earth, you will be responsible for designing and executing visually appealing and effective ad campaigns for Meta primarily, with intermittent YouTube needs. You will work with a wide range of clients, from start-ups to more established brands, and should be able to navigate digital brand expression for either. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of design principles, a focus on motion, and a creative mindset. Agency experience is preferred, as the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client expectations and deliver high-quality designs across various accounts simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Creative Ideation:
- Create visually compelling and on-brand ad designs for various clients and industries.
- Collaborate with creative strategists to understand client objectives and translate them into impactful design concepts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure cutting-edge designs.
- Work closely with copywriters to integrate text and visuals seamlessly in ad campaigns.
- Use motion effectively (in After Effects specifically) to create ads that utilize motion design elements and leverage footage. Do you know expressions? We'll use a lot of those.
- Ensure quality assurance by reviewing creative deliverables before they are sent through internal review.
- Work autonomously and be able to establish the creative direction for an account from kickoff, whether the account is a smaller startup with less defined direction or a larger more enterprise client.
Creative Team Growth:
- Mentor more junior designers on the team to help grow their skillset
- Lead internal review for designs from more junior designers on the team
- Lead internal training sessions two times a year
- Be innovative with our processes and propose more efficient ways of working
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience as a graphic designer
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a portfolio showcasing ad design work.
- Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects and Photoshop specifically.)
- Proficiency in Figma is a plus.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- The ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously and effectively communicate the individual brands across final deliverables.
- Prior experience in an agency is preferred.
