JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a sharp, creative, thorough & hardworking Executive Producer to join The Evening Edit with Elizabeth MacDonald on FOX Business. As the Executive Producer, you are responsible for overseeing content for a one-hour business news program at 5PM. You work hand-in-hand with the host, show team, and management to facilitate a successful production.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Set the editorial standard at the beginning of each day by building a show with original guests/topics/ideas
Take the lead in the control room while monitoring/reacting to breaking news
Plan future shows/segments in anticipation of high-profile events
Help coordinate special projects
Manage and develop Line Producers, Bookers, Segment Producers, and Production Assistants
Coordinate staffing, schedules, and timecards
Conduct annual reviews
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience producing at a local station or news network
2+ years of experience as a Senior Producer in a professional live news environment
Exceptional editorial skills: ability to generate original ideas
Ability to execute live segments including breaking news
Ability to handle daily script deadline pressure & copy edit scripts for air
Ability to react to breaking news with instant programming ideas
Knowledge of current events, business news, politics, and pop culture
Willingness to listen, learn and grow from constructive feedback

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $185,500.00-210,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
