General Assignment Reporter
The Marietta Daily Journal in Cobb County, Ga., is seeking a general assignment reporter.
The ideal candidate would possess a passion for writing, and would be committed to reporting on the issues of a large metro community with accuracy and fairness while telling the stories of its citizens. Recent college grads are OK to apply.
As a general assignment reporter you would cover crime, government, education, the arts, history and write human interest features.
Some weekend and evening work will arise as schedules dictate.
The Marietta Daily Journal publishes in print five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday while delivering news daily via our website and e-editions.
The MDJ is owned by Times-Journal, Inc, which publishes 18 newspapers and corresponding websites, all in Georgia.
