Rapidly growing east coast based TV production company is seeking a part-time, temporary social media intern to work on the following:

Helping build out the company’s social media platforms
Creating and posting content on the company’s social media channels including Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram
Researching and applying best practices for social media strategies designed to grow platforms and increase affinity for the brand
Utilize existing networks or forming new networks of influencers to grow the sites’ base and brand and expand the reach of posts
Gather, analyze, and apply social media metrics
Monitor social media trends and provide recommendations for content optimization, and conduct social listening to identify trends, conversations, and opportunities for engagement
Support the creation of visual assets

Experience:
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices
- Familiarity with creating visual assets
- Knowledge of social listening tools such as Google Alerts or similar platforms
- Understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of public relations principles is a plus

This internship is part-time (approximately 20 hours/week) and will last at least 3 months, with the potential for it to become paid, full-time and/or permanent for the right candidate. The work can be performed remotely or in our home office in Philadelphia. The right candidate would be someone intrepid, a self-starter, tenacious, good humored, intelligent, responsible, creative, detail-oriented, and with deep social media experience across platforms and some entertainment industry experience.
